This lesson contains several resources developed to help students follow the podcast, including two hands-on investigations that students can perform to help them better understand how scientists can learn about the ocean even if they can’t see all of it at once.
For students, it includes a Listening Guide that they can use to follow along with the podcast while they listen to it one section at a time, as well as an episode transcript.
For teachers, the Resource Packet contains lesson plans, standards alignment, suggestions on how to use this podcast in class, as well as activity instructions and other printouts to give to students.
